My Story
In January 2000, Steve and I were bankrupt. We decided to live with two different family members- him in Utah and me in Washington to try and save money and we were desperate! Now, years later, we have overcome bankruptcy, we have purchased our own beautiful, large home and have two new vehicles that we can afford. HOW? It wasn't easy and it took work and effort, but Scentsy was absolutely our vehicle to success!
By owning your own Scentsy business, we can't promise a rags to riches story for you, but we can promise to help you create a business where you can choose how successful you want to be!
Scentsy's core values include Authenticity, Simplicity, and Generosity. These are the core values we believe in too. We began our Scentsy journey in October 2004. In the beginning, Steve spoke with Orville, our CEO, at length about what Scentsy would look like in 5-10 years. It is amazing how clear and accurate Orville's vision was. Steve saw the vision and knew it would one day be the company that we all enjoy today. Steve had a harder time convincing me of that vision, but I did finally come around. Of course, like many of you reading this, you might be saying, "but I'm not a salesperson!" I kept telling Steve, the same thing! I thought selling=pushy. I couldn't have been more mistaken!
It took an opportunity volunteering at a home show and seeing the reactions of customers to Scentsy's products and idea before I was willing to jump on board. But since October 2004, we have been focused, consistent and passionate about what Scentsy has to offer! And not just about the product! We love the evolution of products that Scentsy has come to represent, but we love the business opportunity even more!
We have been able to quit both our full-time jobs and now focus our time and energies raising our four beautiful children, building our personal business and helping others to build their Scentsy business as well! This is where our true passion lies, in helping facilitate the success of others.
We are now blessed to be Super Star Directors with Scentsy. We consistently sell an average of $2,000 or more in product each month. We earned the Annual Sales Award 7 going on 8 years in a row. We have close to 200 on our team and over 38,000 in our group. We have over 120 Directors, Star Directors and Super Star Directors in our down line.
We find the most satisfaction and fulfillment when we are able to help those we sponsor to build the type of Scentsy business that fits their life and their family situation. We aren't here to push anyone into a business they don't want! We want your Scentsy business to be a blessing to you and your family!
